Dan Richards - Executive Director (he/him)

His journey at Kenesserie started as a camper when he was just 5 years old. Dan continued on to become a Counselor-in-Training and then a staff member, wearing many hats throughout the years. He has spent most of his life dedicated to children's camping, having directed at Lambton United Church Centre in Forest, ON and at Camp Columba in Southland, New Zealand in addition to Kenesserie Camp. Dan has spent his life making children's camp a special experience for thousands of campers, as it was for him so many years ago.

Dan met his wonderful life partner and wife, Samantha, at Kenesserie when they were 14. Dan’s parents also met at Kenesserie Camp in the 60’s. He is passionate about providing leadership and guidance in enhancing and empowering children and youth through Kenesserie Camp's mission.
