Connecting with the Community at CK Workforce Week
Kenesserie Camp was grateful to be part of the recent Chatham-Kent Workforce Week Job Fair on March 4, an event that brought together local employers, job seekers, and community organizations from across Chatham-Kent.
Events like this are a wonderful reminder of how much strength there is in a community when people come together to support one another. We had the chance to meet many thoughtful and enthusiastic individuals from Chatham-Kent who are exploring new opportunities and thinking about how they want to make a difference in the work they do.
We are especially thankful to Chatham-Kent Employment & Social Services for hosting the event and for the important role they play in connecting people with meaningful employment. Creating spaces where organizations and job seekers can meet face to face helps strengthen the entire community.
At Kenesserie Camp, we are currently looking for summer staff who want to make a real difference in the lives of kids. Working at camp is about much more than a summer job. It is an opportunity to develop leadership skills, build lasting friendships, and help create experiences that build confidence and resilience in young people.
Each summer, our staff help bring the camp experience to life through outdoor adventures, creative programs, campfires, and the everyday moments that help kids grow. For many of our team members, their time at camp becomes one of the most meaningful and memorable seasons of their lives.
It was encouraging to meet people who are excited about working with young people, being part of a supportive team, and spending their summer outdoors helping create something special.
If you were not able to attend the job fair but are interested in joining our team, we would love to hear from you.
You can learn more about working at Kenesserie Camp and apply online at https://kenesserie.com/about-us/job-opportunities/.
Together, we can continue building a place where kids grow in confidence, friendships are formed, and camp memories last a lifetime.
